What has been going on?

In the process of building the page remembering the victims of Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome. Research is currently being conducted thoroughly while testing the page. The website will be responsive to a variety of devices.
Creating a PDF viewer application in Visual Basic, the C# version will be proposed soon.

It has been quiet lately. There has been an influx of assignments as of late, most of which are due to the end of May. Endless documentations, testing, programming and presentations, but I am determined to give my all so I can get back to blogging and doing what I love most; programming!

And So The Journey Begins

Firstly, thank you for taking some time of your day to visit my page! I am currently in my first year of following a course in Advanced Diploma in Information Technology (Software Development) at the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology.

I have a penchant for programming and have experience with C, C++, C#, CSS, HTML, Kotlin, Java, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, Python, SQL, VBScript, Visual Basic and XML. I have also experimented with Visual J# in the past. As part of my assignment, I had built an embedded system using the Raspberry Pi Model 3B+ and Python. This automatically posts updates on Twitter, follow and unfollow users and view basic user information via a Python script, as well as create/remove/switch to directories in an operating system, tried and tested on Raspbian and Ubuntu Mate so far. It moreover handles the automatic transmission of electronic messages through a Gmail server. Ultimately, my intention was to build a single application with several functionalities, thus saving consumption of hardware resources, mainly the internal memory.

I am currently in the process of building a website from scratch using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery with the aim to raise awareness about SADS (Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome).

Just last month, I created a text editor (MaurenLite) supporting the aforementioned programming/scripting languages. Here is the link for download: https://mcastedu-my.sharepoint.com/:u:/g/personal/mandy_farrugia_c10352_mcast_edu_mt/EciaOWqCs_9GnVpEQ6dm0ZABdyiM8vAm0m8EkU3uX4z04g?e=UakkWx

Once more, thank you for following me into my journey of studying this course! I will keep you posted in due time.
